Meaning of Surah At-Tawbah, Ayah 67

Almunafiqoona walmunafiqatubaAAduhum min baAAdin ya/muroona bilmunkariwayanhawna AAani almaAAroofi wayaqbidoona aydiyahum nasooAllaha fanasiyahum inna almunafiqeena humu alfasiqoon

1. ٱلْمُنَـٰفِقُونَal-munāfiqūnaThe hypocrite men
2. وَٱلْمُنَـٰفِقَـٰتُwal-munāfiqātuand the hypocrite women
3. بَعْضُهُمbaʿḍuhumsome of them
4. مِّنۢmin(are) of
5. بَعْضٍۢ ۚbaʿḍinothers
6. يَأْمُرُونَyamurūnaThey enjoin
7. بِٱلْمُنكَرِbil-munkarithe wrong
8. وَيَنْهَوْنَwayanhawnaand forbid
9. عَنِʿaniwhat
10. ٱلْمَعْرُوفِl-maʿrūfi(is) the right
11. وَيَقْبِضُونَwayaqbiḍūnaand they close
12. أَيْدِيَهُمْ ۚaydiyahumtheir hands
13. نَسُوا۟nasūThey forget
14. ٱللَّهَl-lahaAllah
15. فَنَسِيَهُمْ ۗfanasiyahumso He has forgotten them
16. إِنَّinnaIndeed
17. ٱلْمُنَـٰفِقِينَl-munāfiqīnathe hypocrites
18. هُمُhumuthey (are)
19. ٱلْفَـٰسِقُونَl-fāsiqūnathe defiantly disobedient
