وَيَسْتَعْجِلُونَكَ بِٱلْعَذَابِ ۚ وَلَوْلَآ أَجَلٌۭ مُّسَمًّۭى لَّجَآءَهُمُ ٱلْعَذَابُ وَلَيَأْتِيَنَّهُم بَغْتَةًۭ وَهُمْ لَا يَشْعُرُونَ ٥٣

WayastaAAjiloonaka bilAAathabiwalawla ajalun musamman lajaahumu alAAathabuwalaya/tiyannahum baghtatan wahum la yashAAuroon

- وَيَسْتَعْجِلُونَكَwayastaʿjilūnakaAnd they ask you to hasten
- بِٱلْعَذَابِ ۚbil-ʿadhābi[with] the punishment
- وَلَوْلَآwalawlāAnd if not
- أَجَلٌۭajalun(for) a term
- مُّسَمًّۭىmusammanappointed
- لَّجَآءَهُمُlajāahumusurely (would) have come to them
- ٱلْعَذَابُl-ʿadhābuthe punishment
- وَلَيَأْتِيَنَّهُمwalayatiyannahumBut it will surely come to them
