وَإِذْ قُلْنَا لِلْمَلَـٰٓئِكَةِ ٱسْجُدُوا۟ لِـَٔادَمَ فَسَجَدُوٓا۟ إِلَّآ إِبْلِيسَ كَانَ مِنَ ٱلْجِنِّ فَفَسَقَ عَنْ أَمْرِ رَبِّهِۦٓ ۗ أَفَتَتَّخِذُونَهُۥ وَذُرِّيَّتَهُۥٓ أَوْلِيَآءَ مِن دُونِى وَهُمْ لَكُمْ عَدُوٌّۢ ۚ بِئْسَ لِلظَّـٰلِمِينَ بَدَلًۭا ٥٠

Wa-ith qulna lilmala-ikatiosjudoo li-adama fasajadoo illa ibleesa kanamina aljinni fafasaqa AAan amri rabbihi afatattakhithoonahuwathurriyyatahu awliyaa min doonee wahum lakumAAaduwwun bi/sa liththalimeena badala
كلمة بكلمة
- وَإِذْwa-idhAnd when
- قُلْنَاqul'nāWe said
- لِلْمَلَـٰٓئِكَةِlil'malāikatito the Angels
- ٱسْجُدُوا۟us'judūProstrate
- لِـَٔادَمَliādamato Adam
- فَسَجَدُوٓا۟fasajadūso they prostrated
- إِلَّآillāexcept
- إِبْلِيسَib'līsaIblis
- كَانَkāna(He) was
- مِنَminaof
- ٱلْجِنِّl-jinithe jinn
- فَفَسَقَfafasaqaand he rebelled
- عَنْʿanagainst
- أَمْرِamrithe Command
- رَبِّهِۦٓ ۗrabbihi(of) his Lord
- أَفَتَتَّخِذُونَهُۥafatattakhidhūnahuWill you then take him
- وَذُرِّيَّتَهُۥٓwadhurriyyatahuand his offspring
- أَوْلِيَآءَawliyāa(as) protectors
