فَبِمَا رَحْمَةٍۢ مِّنَ ٱللَّهِ لِنتَ لَهُمْ ۖ وَلَوْ كُنتَ فَظًّا غَلِيظَ ٱلْقَلْبِ لَٱنفَضُّوا۟ مِنْ حَوْلِكَ ۖ فَٱعْفُ عَنْهُمْ وَٱسْتَغْفِرْ لَهُمْ وَشَاوِرْهُمْ فِى ٱلْأَمْرِ ۖ فَإِذَا عَزَمْتَ فَتَوَكَّلْ عَلَى ٱللَّهِ ۚ إِنَّ ٱللَّهَ يُحِبُّ ٱلْمُتَوَكِّلِينَ ١٥٩

Fabima rahmatin mina Allahilinta lahum walaw kunta faththan ghaleethaalqalbi lanfaddoo min hawlika faAAfuAAanhum wastaghfir lahum washawirhum fee al-amrifa-itha AAazamta fatawakkal AAala Allahiinna Allaha yuhibbu almutawakkileen

- فَبِمَاfabimāSo because
- رَحْمَةٍۢraḥmatin(of) Mercy
- مِّنَminafrom
- ٱللَّهِl-lahiAllah
- لِنتَlintayou dealt gently
- لَهُمْ ۖlahumwith them
- وَلَوْwalawAnd if
- كُنتَkuntayou had been
- فَظًّاfaẓẓanrude
- غَلِيظَghalīẓa(and) harsh
- ٱلْقَلْبِl-qalbi(at) [the] heart
- لَٱنفَضُّوا۟la-infaḍḍūsurely they (would have) dispersed
- مِنْminfrom
- حَوْلِكَ ۖḥawlikaaround you
- فَٱعْفُfa-uʿ'fuThen pardon
- عَنْهُمْʿanhum[from] them
- وَٱسْتَغْفِرْwa-is'taghfirand ask forgiveness
- لَهُمْlahumfor them
- وَشَاوِرْهُمْwashāwir'humand consult them

- ٱلْأَمْرِ ۖl-amrithe matter
- فَإِذَاfa-idhāThen when
- عَزَمْتَʿazamtayou have decided
- فَتَوَكَّلْfatawakkalthen put trust

- ٱللَّهِ ۚl-lahiAllah
