وَعَلَى ٱلثَّلَـٰثَةِ ٱلَّذِينَ خُلِّفُوا۟ حَتَّىٰٓ إِذَا ضَاقَتْ عَلَيْهِمُ ٱلْأَرْضُ بِمَا رَحُبَتْ وَضَاقَتْ عَلَيْهِمْ أَنفُسُهُمْ وَظَنُّوٓا۟ أَن لَّا مَلْجَأَ مِنَ ٱللَّهِ إِلَّآ إِلَيْهِ ثُمَّ تَابَ عَلَيْهِمْ لِيَتُوبُوٓا۟ ۚ إِنَّ ٱللَّهَ هُوَ ٱلتَّوَّابُ ٱلرَّحِيمُ ١١٨

WaAAala aththalathatiallatheena khullifoo hatta itha daqatAAalayhimu al-ardu bima rahubat wadaqatAAalayhim anfusuhum wathannoo an la maljaamina Allahi illa ilayhi thumma tabaAAalayhim liyatooboo inna Allaha huwa attawwabuarraheem

- وَعَلَىwaʿalāAnd on
- ٱلثَّلَـٰثَةِl-thalāthatithe three
- ٱلَّذِينَalladhīna(of) those who
- خُلِّفُوا۟khullifūwere left behind
- حَتَّىٰٓḥattāuntil
- إِذَاidhāwhen
- ضَاقَتْḍāqat(was) straitened
- عَلَيْهِمُʿalayhimufor them
- ٱلْأَرْضُl-arḍuthe earth
- بِمَاbimāthough
- رَحُبَتْraḥubatit was vast
- وَضَاقَتْwaḍāqatAnd (was) straitened
- عَلَيْهِمْʿalayhimfor them
- أَنفُسُهُمْanfusuhumtheir own souls
- وَظَنُّوٓا۟waẓannūand they were certain
- أَنanthat
- لَّاlā(there is) no
- مَلْجَأَmalja-arefuge
- مِنَminafrom
- ٱللَّهِl-lahiAllah
- إِلَّآillāexcept
- إِلَيْهِilayhito Him
- ثُمَّthummaThen
- تَابَtābaHe turned (in mercy)
- عَلَيْهِمْʿalayhimto them
- لِيَتُوبُوٓا۟ ۚliyatūbūthat they may repent
- إِنَّinnaIndeed
- ٱللَّهَl-lahaAllah
- هُوَhuwaHe
- ٱلتَّوَّابُl-tawābu(is) the Acceptor of repentance
- ٱلرَّحِيمُl-raḥīmuthe Most Merciful
